Chimney Rock Park has the best of the mountains all in one place.  Enjoy hiking trails for all skill levels or take the elevator up to Chimney Rock, a 315-foot granite rock formation for amazing 75-mile views. This beautiful park in the scenic Hickory Nut Gorge features Devil’s Head balancing rock and the 404-foot Hickory Nut Falls.

Special Events are held regularly including Naturalist Niche Series.  Some events are included in Park admission, others have an additional fee.

Chimney Rock State Park is 18 miles from downtown Hendersonville on Hwy. 64 East.

Directions to Chimney Rock State Park from Meadowbrook Log Cabin

  • Turn right on US-25.
  • Turn left on US-64.
  • Stay on US-64 for about half an hour.
  • In Bat Cave, stay on US-64 where it turns to the right toward Chimney Rock.
